Tara Air and Summit Air operate the bulk of the Kathmandu/Manthali → Lukla rotation in pre-monsoon. Between 1 and 14 May 2026 we tracked 5 cancellation days out of 14, all weather-driven, all decided before 09:00.
If you have a fixed return date out of Kathmandu within 24 hours of your EBC return, you should not be on the first available Lukla flight back. Build in 48 hours of buffer or plan a Salleri exit.
